Making developments ‘fit’ their sites, with the scope, nature and scale of the development responding to the setting, is a core skill and fundamental to getting the project right from the outset. We seek direct commissions wherever possible in order that we can develop a strong working relationship with the client and we rarely act as sub-consultants. We understand and appreciate the need for landscape to add value at the design stage and we strive in our designs of schemes for creative but efficient and restrained solutions that are comprehensive and relevant.

Landscape Services
We undertake landscape appraisals and site based feasibility studies and we act strategically in the planning process analysing the capacity of landscapes for change. We Masterplan sites and can take a joint role in site planning stages. We prepare Design & Access Statements and landscape mitigation strategies and designs. We are highly experienced in the landscape and visual impact assessment of a wide range of development types and provide the expert witness role at planning inquiries. We design external works and landscape packages for implementation for schemes from £100,000 to over £5,000,000 and will supervise the satisfactory construction of this work.
